Todo este combustible estaba escondido en lo que los informes describieron como \u201cuna extensi\u00f3n de maleza\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Simult\u00e1neamente, otros militares incursionaron en dos viviendas de Valencia, capital del estado Carabobo, pertenecientes a\u00a0<strong>Evimar Yecdaly S\u00e1nchez<\/strong>. Esta mujer, tambi\u00e9n conocida como La Viuda, era \u201cresponsable de la recepci\u00f3n de la droga en las costas de Sabanas Altas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Hurtado y La Viuda fueron aprehendidos en el curso de una operaci\u00f3n conocida como\u00a0<strong>Mano de Hierro<\/strong>. Aunque este r\u00f3tulo abarca pesquisas de distinta \u00edndole, quiz\u00e1 lo m\u00e1s notorio ha sido la captura de\u00a0<strong>la alcaldesa del municipio Jes\u00fas Mar\u00eda Semprum del estado Zulia, Keynireth Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, los diputados a la Asamblea Nacional de mayor\u00eda chavista,\u00a0<strong>Taina Gonz\u00e1lez y Luis Viloria Chirinos<\/strong>, y otras tres perasonas. Todos fueron ligados al hallazgo de 7,4 kilos de coca\u00edna en un veh\u00edculo que se dirig\u00eda de Zulia a Falc\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/Key_Fernandez86\/status\/1445943523128315909<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Crimen reactivado<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Pero ese \u00faltimo estado era apenas un punto de tr\u00e1nsito para la droga. Desde septiembre de 2021, con el relajamiento de la cuarentena por el COVID-19, se ha visto una reactivaci\u00f3n de dos actividades que tradicionalmente unen a Venezuela con Aruba, Curazao y Bonaire. Son los\u00a0<strong>traslados de emigrantes y los de psicotr\u00f3picos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El\u00a0<strong>cierre de las fronteras<\/strong>\u00a0mar\u00edtimas y a\u00e9reas entre el pa\u00eds suramericano y el Caribe Neerland\u00e9s, la\u00a0<strong>emergencia humanitaria compleja<\/strong>\u00a0y la prohibici\u00f3n a la circulaci\u00f3n de personas y bienes, como consecuencia de la pandemia, ha tenido\u00a0<strong>efectos devastadores sobre la econom\u00eda falconiana<\/strong>, al punto de que el propio gobernador V\u00edctor Clark, de tendencia oficialista, ha solicitado p\u00fablicamente una apertura al comercio con las referidas islas. Cumarebo est\u00e1 entre Sabanas Largas y Coro.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan Saab,\u00a0<strong>los puntos de salida de la droga manejada por este grupo son Puerto La Cruz, Higuerote y Falc\u00f3n<\/strong>. All of this fuel was hidden in what reports described as \u00aban expanse of brush.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Simultaneously, other soldiers entered two houses in Valencia, the capital of Carabobo state, belonging to Evimar Yecdaly S\u00e1nchez. This woman, also known as La Viuda, was \u00abresponsible for receiving the drug on the coast of Sabanas Altas.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Hurtado and La Viuda were apprehended in the course of an operation known as Mano de Hierro. Although this label covers investigations of a different nature, perhaps the most notorious has been the capture of the mayor of the Jes\u00fas Mar\u00eda Semprum municipality of Zulia state, Keynireth Fern\u00e1ndez, the deputies to the National Assembly with a Chavista majority, Taina Gonz\u00e1lez and Luis Viloria Chirinos, and three other people. All were linked to the discovery of 7.4 kilos of cocaine in a vehicle that was heading from Zulia to Falc\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Crime reactivated<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>But that last state was just a transit point for the drug. Since September 2021, with the relaxation of the quarantine due to COVID-19, there has been a reactivation of two activities that traditionally link Venezuela with Aruba, Cura\u00e7ao and Bonaire. They are the transfers of emigrants and those of psychotropic drugs.<\/p>\n<p>The closure of the maritime and air borders between the South American country and the Dutch Caribbean, the complex humanitarian emergency and the prohibition on the movement of people and goods, as a consequence of the pandemic, have had devastating effects on the Falconian economy, to the point of that Governor V\u00edctor Clark himself, with an official tendency, has publicly requested an opening to trade with the said islands. That has pushed many people into illegality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight now, only two activities sustain the economy in Falc\u00f3n: drug and human trafficking,\u201d said an officer who has participated in the investigation of criminal networks there.<\/p>\n<p>The official, whose name is withheld, explained that surveillance by radars in different parts of the Caribbean has not stopped the passage of illegal flights, which depart from runways and the highways of Cabo San Rom\u00e1n towards Central America, frequently from two to month.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abBut most of the cocaine is moved by boat to Aruba and Cura\u00e7ao,\u00bb he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to this source, the case of Sabanas Largas is an indication that the networks previously dominated by Emilio Enrique Mart\u00ednez, alias Chiche Smith, continue to operate in Falc\u00f3n and Carabobo.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney General Tarek William Saab reported that, within this same investigation, 134 kilos of cocaine were seized during the raid on a farm in Cumarebo (Falc\u00f3n), owned by a man identified as Aquiles Hurtado. Cumarebo is between Sabanas Largas and Coro.<\/p>\n<p>According to Saab, the exit points for the drug handled by this group are Puerto La Cruz, Higuerote and Falc\u00f3n.
